Dolph Lundgren has starred in many classic action movies. He got his start by playing "Ivan Drago {which means John Dragon in English}" opposite Sylvester Stallone in "Rocky IV." Dolph burst onto the scene in the 1980's as Sweden's answer to Arnold Schwazenegger. In a film career that spans 16 years, Dolph has worked with many notable film personalities. The Punisher and Cover Up with Oscar winner Louis Gossett Jr. Showdown in Little Tokyo with Brandon Lee. Universal Soldier with Jean Claude Van Damme. Johnny Mnemonic with Keanu Reeves. Director John Woo in Blackjack. Quentin Tarantino in the exercise video, Maximum Potential.
Dolph was born Hans Lundgren in Stockholm,Sweden in 1959. Dolph holds a Master's degree in chemical engineering and was offered a scholarship to MIT. In 1980-81 he was European Heavyweight Kickboxing Champion and in 1982 he was Australian Kickboxing Champion.
